'Fallen Legion' Release Date: PlayStation 4 Announcement but Release Date Still Unknown
Another game has been announced for PlayStation 4 and it's expected to attract gamers who are into playing games with battles and the ruling of kingdoms. According to PlayStation Lifestyle, developer YummyYummyTummy announced the "Fallen Legion," which is a new action RPG that will be heading to PlayStation 4 via the PlayStation Network.
The game does not have a specific release date yet but it is expected to arrive sometime in summer 2016. As detailed in the PlayStation Blog, the game will start off with Princess Cecille standing on a battlefield. Her army is seen behind her while a group of beasts is approaching.
The princess' father, the King, is already dead but has left her a book called Grimoire which possesses the ability to breathe life into weapons known as the Exemplars. The Grimoire also holds the facts about the country Fenumia, which isn't the sublime kingdom its citizens believe it is.
Princess Cecille will be bringing her weapons-turned-soldiers along with her to the battle. The first one is Zulfiqar who is a heavy hitter that can provide protection to the other Exemplars through the use of his sturdy shield. The other one is Longinus, who inflicts damage using "multi-hit spear strikes." The last but not the least is Apollon who can cripple enemies with status effects.
The Sixth-Axis reported that players can create combos by switching between their party's characters during real-time combat. Push Square also noted that the new video game will be a combination of role-playing and reaction-based action, where different party members' attacks are dictated by different buttons. Fast decision-making skills is also needed in this game as players will be presented with options on how to deal with scenarios that will pop up every so often.
A gameplay trailer has already been released allowing gamers to take a sneak peek in what they can expect with the upcoming game. For more information, interested players will have to stay tuned.
