'Falling Water' Season 2 News: Brittany Allen Replaces Brooke Bloom as Sabine

"Falling Water" will introduce a new actress for the role of Sabine Brighton when season 2 returns.

Brittany Allen has been tapped to play the role of Sabine, according to reports. The actress will replace Brooke Bloom, who could not reprise the role for season 2 because of scheduling conflict. As fans already know, Sabine is the big sister of Tess (Lizzie Brochere). A clinical psychologist by profession, she is also Taka's (Will Yun Lee) love interest.

Tess and Sabine did not have a good relationship when they were growing up. Despite their past, the two characters still believe it's always them against the world. Meanwhile, Sabine met the love of her life, Taka, during his investigations in the first season.

Allen joins season 2 newcomers Kristopher Turner and Stephen Arbuckle. Turner will take on the role of a tutor who becomes a possible love interest for Tess, while Arbuckle will portray a regular customer at the diner named Mark.

Season 2 of the supernatural thriller explores the story of three different people (David Ajala, Yun Lee, Brochere) living ordinary lives. Their worlds unexpectedly collide when they discover their abilities to manipulate dreams and the dreamers themselves. Together, they must find out how to use their gifts once they learn that the fate of humanity depends on them.

"With its striking visuals and stylized narrative, 'Falling Water' creates a world where dreams have a dramatic impact on reality," said Jeff Wachtel, president and chief content officer of NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment, about the season 2 renewal earlier this year. "Gale and Blake executed a thought-provoking and resonant first season. We're delighted to welcome Rémi to the creative team — and we can't wait to see where he takes us next."

The second season of "Falling Water" is expected to premiere next year on USA Network. An exact release date has yet to be announced.
