'Fallout 4' News, Update: Game Maker Bethesda Offers Update Hinting Series Expansions

New details on "Fallout 4," Bethesda's highly-anticipated installment to the hit action role-playing video game series, "Fallout," have arrived this week pointing out to new mods and other series expansion tools, including a board game.

Citing the report from Gamespot.com, it is said that the popular "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" maker is currently wrapping up the soon-to-be released "Fallout 4" mod tools.

Quoting the words of the game's executive producer Todd Howard, the mod creation kit is targeted for an "early 2016" outing for the PC version of the game. However, the timetable for the project "was still fuzzy" and can't be determined as of the moment.

For the uninitiated, mod creation kits allow players to extensively edit and modify in-game codes which in turn enable them to create, to some extent, a whole new expansion/additional content for the vanilla.

Howard went on to explain that the mod tools would be similar to what they have in Skyrim, which is by the way, one of the games with a lot of mod contents. However, not only would "Fallout 4" PC version gamers get to enjoy the mods but they would also be enjoyed by those who play the games on their Xbox as they "are finally bringing it to console."

"Once we get the creation kit out on PC, it's then going to come to Xbox One," Howard confirmed (via Gamespot).

Meanwhile, "Fallout" fans can now also enjoy the game franchise series unplugged. Express UK reported that Bethesda is launching a Fallout-themed Monopoly edition.

Costing around $40, the "Monopoly: Fallout Collector's Edition" is now ready for pre-orders via the official Bethesda Store.

"Play MONOPOLY: Fallout Collector's Edition and rebuild civilization as you buy, sell, and trade your way through the Fallout Wasteland," the game description provided by the website reads.

With pretty much the same game mechanics, the Fallout Monopoly features "shacks" and "vaults" instead of houses and hotels as properties. Included also are "collectible Wasteland-inspired, distressed finish tokens and plan for the future with custom Fallout money imprinted with the Nuka-Cola bottle caps."

"Fallout 4" is slated to hit the shelves on November 10 .
