While the deaths of many famous celebrities have drawn worldwide attention, the world seems the most moved by the famous who have died young.
There are some names in the celebrity world that the public appears to never forget. Their deaths at a youthful age have immortalized their names and character. James Dean died at the age of 24 in a tragic car crash; his death 57 years later still remains fresh in the minds of many. Only four years later, the famed musician Buddy Holly died in a fatal plane crash when he was only 22.
To this day Tupac Shakur is one of the best selling artists in the world. By 2007 he had sold over 75 million albums worldwide. The musician died in 1996 at the age of 25 after being shot to death.

Although these deaths seemed like rare and tragic cases, celebrities dying before their time has become a much more frequent occurrence, often due to alcohol and drugs.
Just a month ago, Whitney Houston died at the age of 48. Both alcohol and drugs have been suspected in her death, which came far too soon for many of her fans.
Last year Amy Winehouse died at the age of 27. The young musician, who had been controversial but highly success throughout her career, had reportedly been drinking extremely heavily prior to her death. Actor Heath Ledger died in 2008, at the age of 28. The toxicology reported stated that his death was the result of abusing prescription drugs.
Suicide has also been another tragedy to stardom. In 1994 Kurt Cobain's death was ruled a suicide after he was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head, he was only 27. Marilyn Monroe's death was also ruled as a probable suicide after she died from barbiturate poisoning at the age of 36.
However, no matter what caused these untimely deaths, these celebrities along with many others still manage to live on through the memories of their many fans.
