Fantasia Barrino Leans on Prayer After Tour Injury
Fantasia Barrino is revealing how prayer helped her heal from a second degree burn that she suffered while on tour.
Barrino, the 32-year-old "American Idol" alumnus, is currently on the "In It to Win It" tour with R&B veteran singers Charlie Wilson and Johnny Gill. While sleeping in her tour bus Sunday, TMZ is reporting that Barrino accidentally knocked her vaporizer machine over, which she uses to soothe her vocal chords.
The mistake resulted in second degree burns and a hospital visit. Barrino had to cancel her performance in Memphis, Tennessee, Sunday. After receiving treatment in a hospital, Barrino revealed that she leaned on prayer.

In a social media message written on behalf of his wife, Barrino's husband, Kenneth Taylor, asked fans to pray.
"There are times when our Father intentionally slows us down to reflect and hear from Him.
My Wife experienced an accident today causing 2nd degree burns on her arm," he revealed on Instagram Sunday. "..So please, keep my Queen lifted in prayer, asking our God to heal her rapidly with no last negative effects...#WeaponsMayForm#NoneShallPropser."
In her own Instagram message, Barrino acknowledged the enemy's attacks while making it clear that she and her husband are praying people.
"So you keep attacking huh? We are both God's kids that stay prayed up," she wrote. "When we walk up out of this Hospital we are ready to fight again babe best believe it .. King & Queen Taylor."
On Tuesday, Barrino spoke out against the devil trying to keep her from performing in Memphis while vowing to return stronger than ever.
"Yes, the devil tried his best to shut me up & out from Memphis but I'll soon come back to party w/ you. I'm going to finish this Tour out stronger than ever," she wrote. ".. I Love You All and I'm ready to push forward, arm Burned and all lol.."
