'Fantastic Four's' Michael B. Jordan in Talks to Star in Comic Book Vampire Movie
"Fantastic Four" actor Michael B. Jordan is eyeing a role in another comic book movie about vampires.
American actor Michael B. Jordan, who played firestarter Johnny Storm/The Human Torch in this year's reboot of "Fantastic Four," is reportedly in negotiations to star in another comic book-based film about vampires, "Blood Brothers."
Jordan, 28, who is also known for his role with Zac Efron and "Fantastic Four" co-actor Miles Teller in 2014's "That Awkward Moment," is gunning for the part of one of the leads in the vampire comedy.

Based on the Dark Horse Comics series, "Blood Brothers" is a story about two ancient vampires, Tree and Nick, who have been blood-sucking buddies for the last few thousand years. After centuries of good times together, including sharing an opium smoke with Genghis Khan and fronting a heavy metal band, the two friends get into a disagreement that threatens to tear their friendship apart.
A super villain turns up and tries to kickstart an apocalypse that will destroy all human life, and Tree and Nick must team up together once more to save the world they live in.
Jordan is in line to play the character of Tree in the movie version that has previously been adapted into a miniseries for Dark Horse. "Men in Black 3" writer Etan Cohen, "Jurassic World" director Colin Trevorrow and his co-writer Derek Connolly have had a hand in adapting the "Blood Brothers" screenplay for film.
Reports have emerged MGM is looking into hiring a new writer and director for the upcoming movie adaptation based on their vision of combining action and comedy in a buddy team-up film in the tradition of "48 Hours," or "Lethal Weapon."
The studio has yet to release the information about the actor to play Nick and when the film is likely to hit theaters.
