'Fargo' Season 3 News, Air Date: FX Releases More Teaser Clips; Ewan McGregor's Emmit Stussy Previewed

With it being a little over a month away from the premiere of "Fargo" season 3, FX has been releasing short promo clips left and right. And in true "Fargo" fashion, there is always some comedy mixed in.

The most recent clip that was posted on the Twitter page of "Fargo" features a police officer, presumably Carrie Coon's Gloria Bugle, heading into a grocery store. She passes an older woman who is on her way out, and they greet each other with a nice smile. However, when the police officer tries to get inside the grocery store, she slams straight into the automatic glass door, which will not open for her. Confused, she walks away. But as soon as she is gone, a piece of paper flies by and seems to activate the door's sensors, effectively opening it.

Another short video sees the police officer driving her cop car through bad snowy weather as the roads are covered with ice. She sees what looks to be an air conditioning unit placed in the middle of the road she is on and pulls the car over in confusion.

Fans already got a glimpse of Ewan McGregor's Ray Stussy in a previous clip, as he fled a diner with Mary Elizabeth Winstead's Nikki Swango. For those who are unaware, Ray is the balding and less successful brother of Emmit, who is also played by McGregor. And while his transformation is certainly impressive, fans were treated to a look at McGregor's other character.

In the clip, Emmit is shown licking a stamp and sticking it on an envelope as he looks at it through a magnifying glass. He is dressed in a suit and sitting in his office. It is clear that the Parking Lot King of Minnesota means business as he looks directly at the camera with a confident gaze.

"Fargo" season 3 will premiere on Wednesday, April 19, at 10 p.m. EDT on FX.
