He stated, "I like the idea that we're now living in a very selfie-oriented culture - people photograph what they're eating and put it up for other people to see — it feels like a social dynamic that is very antithetical to the Lutheran pragmatism of the region. With the time jump, there are speculations that Allison Tolman will return to the series as Deputy Molly Solverson, as well as Colin Hanks as Officer Gus Grimly. The two were last seen in the first season of "Fargo." Meanwhile, it was also rumored that characters from the second season will also be returning to the series. It was revealed that Charlie Gerhardt, played by Allan Dobrescu, and Mike Milligan, played by Bokeem Woodbine, will also be present as older versions of themselves, since season 2 took place many years ago.

With that, it can be expected that the series will present interesting and relevant ideas that will instigate powerful statements. However, fans will have to wait until 2017 to see what "Fargo" season 3 has in store.
