'Farming Simulator 18' Release Date News 2017: Coming to PS Vita and 3DS in June
The newest in Giants Software series "Farming Simulator" will be released via PlayStation Vita sometime this June, according to publisher Focus Home Interactive.
PlayStation Lifestyle reports that the game is making a huge jump to portable platforms after being launched in PC and home consoles for its first seven entries. "Farming Simulator 18" will soon be available in PS Vita in both physical retail and digital downloadable versions this summer.
Focus Home has also released a number of snapshots showcasing the new features of the simulation game. Based on the images, "Farming Simulator 18" will be getting a huge upgrade, complete with new crops and vehicles, among others.

Players can now choose from over 50 farming trucks and machines from the industry's leading brands. AGCO's most respected brands will also be introduced for the first time. These include Challenger, Fendt, Massey Ferguson, and Valtra. The game has added sunflowers in the usual crops like wheat, corn and potatoes. Players may also start breeding pigs alongside their sheep and cows. They will get to enjoy harvesting and breeding these new additions in their PS Vita.
Aside from the PS Vita, "Farming Simulator 18" will also be released via Nintendo 3DS. According to Video Gamer, an exclusive feature players can look forward to are the forestry activities included. They may also expand their farms by selling products via a dynamic market. Aside from the livestocks and plants, a new Southern US environment will also be featured.
Other details on "Farming Simulator 18" are still being kept under wraps, but Focus Home is expected to give more updates in the next months prior to the official launch in June.
A previous report from Mirror posits that the Vita and 3DS versions will be focusing on the game's management aspects. Instead of the usual manual actions used in the PC and home console versions, the actions in the portables will reportedly be automated via a press of a button.
