Farrah Abraham Arrested for DUI, Asked Fans to Send Her Beer
"Teen Mom" star Farrah Abraham was cited for drunk driving on Monday night in Nebraska, reports state. The young mother failed a field sobriety test. Her 4-year-old daughter was not in the car at the time of her arrest.
Hours before the arrest, Abraham tweeted her followers, asking them where they were getting their CornBeef in honor of St. Patrick's Day. She also told them to send "that lucky Irish beer" her way before setting out for the evening.
TMZ reported that Abraham failed her field sobriety test miserably, blowing a 0.147, which is nearly twice the legal limit. She has yet to make a statement about the arrest.
Abraham's fame came when she found herself pregnant at 16; her baby's father, Derek, was tragically killed in motorcycle accident before he learned of the pregnancy. Abraham has struggled to make sense of his death and the nation watched "Teen Mom" for four years to see how she would cope and where her life would go after the birth of her daughter, Sophia.
Since then, Abraham has published her memoir, "My Teenage Dream Ended," and released an album to accompany the book. She has always expressed an interest in cooking and becoming a chef but more recently has been attempting to break into the entertainment industry by appearing at high-profile events and putting herself out there for fans.
Abraham is not the first "Teen Mom" to have trouble with the law. Jenelle Evans has been in and out of the court system, and rehab, due to drug and alcohol abuse. She most recently signed herself out of rehab and got back together with husband Courtland Rogers, who she previously filed assault charges against.
