Farrah Abraham Rehab: 'Teen Mom' Enters Treatment for Alcohol Abuse

Farrah Abraham has entered an outpatient rehab facility for help with alcohol abuse, the "Teen Mom" star revealed. The single mother wants to focus on getting sober and moving forward with her life, as well as set a good example for her daughter, Sophia.

"At this time in my life, I need to stay focused on the positive to get through all of the negative that a DUI has caused in my life. I'm 22 and I want to make better choices and ensure I can recognize when I am putting myself in a bad situation next time," Abraham told Radar Online.

She was arrested back in March for reportedly blowing a .147 on a Breathalyzer, which is nearly twice the legal blood alcohol limit of .08. Abraham attempted to cover for the DUI by saying that she was on medication at the time but had not been drinking at all. A judge placed her on six months probation, ordered her to undergo alcohol education, and even installed a Breathalyzer device in her vehicle.

The device would not let the car start if there was a trace of alcohol on Abraham's breath. The judge also recommended that the teen mom complete 60 hours of outpatient treatment and have 12 months of aftercare at the end of her probation. It appears that Abraham is taking the judge's advice to heart and trying to make things better for herself and her daughter.

Sophia, 4, will remain at Abraham's home while she receives treatment. Abraham's father, Mike, will stay with her for the time being. He has been a great source of support for the two, helping them move into their new home and issuing a statement of love and concern after Abraham admitted to making an intimate video, which caused a great scandal for the "Teen Mom" star.

Abraham supposedly wants to focus on getting her culinary degree so that she can open her own restaurant, which will focus on natural and healthy food.
