Farrah Abraham Wants to Be 'Role Model' for Teen Moms

Farrah Abraham said that she wants to be a role model for her fellow "Teen Mom" co-stars and other teenage mothers in general. Abraham came under a great deal of scrutiny for her participation in an adult video, though she said that the other girls were just jealous.

"I know what jealousy looks like," Abraham told "Us Weekly" about her co-star Catelynn Lowell's comments about her participation in the video.

"I am trying to be a role model for the other 'Teen Moms.' I try not to knock them down; I try to better them. Catelynn has a weight issue, but I don't say harsh things to her to hurt her self-esteem," Abraham added.

Even though Abraham has made strides in her own personal business, with the sale of her memoir "My Teenage Dream Ended" and the CD to accompany it. Yet she apparently took two steps back when it was revealed that she had participated in the video. At first Abraham flat-out denied that she was a part of the film but later decided to admit that she had, in fact, worked on it.

Abraham has been busy promoting her video through her Twitter account, and posting several videos on Keek explaining why she participated in the film. She said she "was lonely" at the time she made the film and had to "make arrangements" in her life to be able to have a relationship.

Since then, Abraham has signed two endorsement deals with The Big Limo and Raspberry Tones. She has a strong fan following, with over 793,000 Twitter followers receiving her messages. Yet Lowell, who she has vowed "never to speak to" again, has 730,000 followers.

Lowell chose adoption for her daughter, making her one of the few "Teen Mom" mothers to do so. She has become an advocate for adoption and travels across the country with her fiancé, Tyler, to speak to young women about choosing adoption if they become pregnant.
