Farrah Abraham's 'Pregnancy' Purchase Faked for Publicity?
Surveillance footage of Farrah Abraham purchasing a pregnancy test set tongues wagging, but her adult-video co-star, James Deen, said that it was all part of an act to stay in the limelight.
"I keep trying to stay out of the drama and let it pass, but it just seems like it's one thing after the next," Deen told Radar Online. "To say you're potentially pregnant is not something to joke about."
Abraham previously claimed that she has been celibate for the past year, except for her interaction with Deen. She was filmed, however, purchasing a pregnancy test, fueling speculation that she may be having his child. Deen was not pleased by Abraham's actions, telling Radar Online that he "does not agree with" her actions.
"When you knowingly involve another human being and a publicity student around that, a child is not something to be taken lightly. It's not a game anymore, and it's really not cool. I do not agree with, and I do not want to participate in [her publicity] – joking or lying or using pregnancy to get attention and media is not cool," Deen explained.
"It involves three people's lives, including the potential unborn child. It is not a subject to just throw around," he added.
Abraham has received a lot of flack for her participation in an adult video from fans and "Teen Mom" co-stars alike.
She already has one child, 4- year-old Sophia, by former boyfriend Derek Underwood. He was killed in a car accident before Sophia was born, and Abraham went on to star on MTV's "16 & Pregnant" and four seasons of "Teen Mom."
Since the show ended, Abraham has engaged in a host of business ventures: writing her memoirs, releasing a complementary CD, hosting TV series, and now working as a spokeswoman for The Big Limo and Raspberry Tones. She still plans to finish getting her culinary degree and hopefully opening her own establishment.
