'Fast and Furious 8' release date, cast news: Mr. Nobody will return
It was announced that the upcoming installment of the "Fast and Furious" franchise will once again feature Mr. Nobody.
Vin Diesel has confirmed the eight installment of the franchise, stating that it is currently in progress. With that, it was rumored that the character Mr. Nobody will be played again by Kurt Russell, a secret agent.
A photo of Diesel and Russell was posted on Diesel's Instagram, with the caption "Torreto Tuesday," while on set of the movie. Mr. Nobody was last seen in the previous movie, showing him waiting for his medical team after being ambushed by Mose Jakande (Djimon Hounsou) and Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham). His character was also responsible for recruiting Toretto finding Ramsey (Nathalie Emmanuel).

Russell also hinted at this upcoming appearance during the Jimmy Kimmel show. He said, "I have an idea, a feeling of what Vin likely wants to do in the future that this personality could be involved. We created a character that I believe is, you know, a mystery man, he is Mr. Nobody we do not know his real name and you cannot figure out exactly the world he is in and I think that is fascinating."
Other rumors state that model and actress Cara Delevingne will be taking on a role for "Fast and Furious 8." She is expected to play the villain, or as Toretto's sibling. Meanwhile, it was speculated that Eva Mendes will also be returning. She previously played a role in the crew. While she was not present in the previous installment, it was said that she will be back for Fast and Furious 8. Fans are also wondering on how the franchise will continue without lead actor Paul Walker. Diesel confirmed that they will no longer include his character, which was portrayed by CGI in the previous installment.
Fast and Furious 8 is scheduled to be released on April 14, 2017.
