'Fast & Furious 8' News: Vin Diesel Reveals Poster

After the reveal of the poster for "Fast & Furious 8," fans can expect the upcoming installment to bring an emotional story to the big screen.

The previous installment of the "Fast & Furious" franchise, directed by James Wan, left fans in tears as it commemorated the death of Paul Walker, one of the lead characters of the film. With that, it was stated that F. Gary Grey, popular from his work on "Straight Outta Compton," will be taking on the next chapter of the film.

The poster for "Fast & Furious 8" was recently revealed by Vin Diesel. He had posted it on his own Facebook page to excite fans about the upcoming installment. The photo showed Diesel's character standing beside a car and staring ahead. The poster had the caption, "New Roads Ahead." However, it was stated that this was not yet the official poster for the film.

The upcoming film is expected to bring some new faces to the franchise. It was stated that Charlize Theron will be portraying a villain in "Fast & Furious 8." Along with the South African actress, it was confirmed that Scott Eastwood will also be part of the film.

Eastwood expressed his excitement to be taking part of the film. He posted on his official Instagram page, "To me, the series is so much more than just a franchise. It's a legacy. These great actors who have been in it together for so long have become a family. I absolutely can't wait to join it. For me to be able to add to the F&F story, Paul's story and the FAST family is like a dream come true."

The two of them will be joined by a stellar cast, including Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris Bridges, Eva Mendes, Kurt Russell, and Kristofer Hivju. It was said that they will be taking part in the next two upcoming installments of the film, "Fast & Furious 9," and "Fast & Furious 10."

"Fast & Furious 8" will premiere in theaters on Apr. 14, 2017. "Fast & Furious 9" and "Fast & Furious 10" will hit theaters by April of 2019 and 2021, respectively.
