'Fate/Apocrypha' Episode 14 Spoilers: Loyalties Will Continue to Shift and Re-Align as Second Cour Progresses

Loyalties have shifted and two new factions seem to have begun forming as the second cour of the Japanese fantasy anime series, "Fate/Apocrypha" begins. Will Shiro's original plan be fulfilled, or will Jeanne and the rest of the opposing side succeed in bringing him down?

The previous episode saw major shifts in both the Red and Black Factions as Shiro took advantage of the Command Spells he now possessed to successfully bring Karna, Achilles, and Atalanta to his side. He has even convinced the Black Faction's Caster, Avicebron, to side with him under the condition that no harm will ever befall his master, Roche.

But as it turned out, Mordred and her master Sisigou have both decided to oppose Shiro's goal and has thus sided with Jeanne. Sieg, who has since gained Command Spells himself, has just become Astolfo's new master and has also started to negotiate with the Black Faction, whose leader was killed in a previous episode, for the homunculi's freedom.

However, it seems that Shiro's side has just gained a huge advantage when Avicebron's master, Roche, unknowingly brought a special item that could greatly affect the outcome of the upcoming battle.

Fans have expressed both admiration for the characters of the series as well as concern for what the future episodes could bring. Mordred has just gained a much positive favor from fans, while some have become worried about Avicebron and Roche's impending conflict, should the latter learn of the former's betrayal.

The Great Holy Grail War has indeed taken a very unexpected turn, and it seems that the lines of loyalty will continue to be blurred as the second cour progresses. Who will stay true to their own principles and who will eventually realize that the principles that they are following are not their own, and thus gain a new perspective about the ongoing war?

"Fate/Apocrypha" airs on Saturdays at midnight JST on Tokyo MX, BS 11, Gumma TV and Togi TV. It also airs on Tuesdays late night at 3:30 a.m. on MBS and streams on Mondays on Netflix.
