'Fate/Apocrypha' Episode 15 Spoilers: What Will the Red Faction's Next Move Be?

Even the best of intentions have a way of becoming a destructive force when wielded by the wrong hands. And now that the Caster of Black's misguided will of bringing salvation to the world has been brought to an end, the Red Faction will only continue to strive to save the world by their own means on the Japanese action-fantasy anime series, "Fate/Apocrypha."

Since Avicebron, or the Caster of Black, chose to side with the Red Faction, he seemed to have finally found the perfect reason to summon his supreme Noble Phantasm in the form of the Golem Keter Malkuth, which had within it his own master, Roche, as the core.

And although the monstrous golem brought forth life with each step as it strove to turn the world back into the paradise of Eden, its ultimate completion could also spell destruction to the mankind.

The Caster of Black's golem was bringing its Master's will into fruition by replacing reality indiscriminately and erasing all that was bad in its path. And it took the unlikely teamwork of the Archer of Black, the Rider of Black, and the Sabers of Black and Red to take the monster down before it could completely become invincible.

But this was only a single battle won among many others that are about to erupt as the Great Holy Grail War continues. The Caster of Black's defeat will surely be followed by a more powerful assault from Shiro, who now holds the Greater Grail.

Moreover, the Saber of Red, Mordred, asked for one of the Ruler's command spells. It is still a mystery what she plans on doing with it, but she seems to be a decent enough warrior to not end up abusing any form of power that is accorded her.

On the other hand, some fans are feeling rather disappointed over the continuing decline of the quality of the animation as the series' second cour progresses. Some inconsistencies were noted as well as animation that did not quite match significant scenes described in the source light novel.

Other fans, however, are still pleased with the direction that the narrative is taking and are looking forward to the upcoming episodes.

"Fate/Apocrypha" airs on Saturdays at midnight JST on Tokyo MX, BS 11, Gumma TV and Togi TV. It also airs on Tuesdays late night at 3:30 a.m. on MBS and streams on Mondays on Netflix.
