Faye Resnick Quits 'Housewives?' Reality TV Villain Claims Show is 'Ruining' Her Life (VIDEO)
"Real Housewives" villain Faye Resnick is reportedly done with the hit Bravo TV reality show amid claims that her life has been ruined.
The 59-year-old Interior Designer has been a recurring 'Housewife' since season one despite growing calls from viewers to have her removed from the show.
"Faye is a tough cookie, so for her to say that things have become so bad that she is finished with the show, is a big development," a source told RadarOnline.com.
"She's a very successful interior designer and being on the show is just bad for business, not to mention the fact that Faye says it is ruining her life," the source went on.
In January Resnick was reportedly left shaken after allegedly being bombarded with death threats possibly stemming from backlash, according to TMZ.com. She is most known for testifying against O.J. Simpson during his infamous 1995 murder trial.
"After the episodes aired in which she got into an argument with ['Houswives'] Brandi Glanville and Lisa Vanderpump, Faye started getting all these hateful, nasty tweets it was just absolutely shocking to her that people are so emotionally invested in the show, and are bold enough to say such ugly and mean things," the source explained.
The sharp tongued reality TV personality is often at the center of the show's drama. She was first introduced to the show via her good friend and 'Housewife' Kyle Richards.
"Faye was being courted to replace Adrienne Maloof next season. Lisa and Brandi need someone to fight and spar with now that Adrienne is gone. Producers are extremely disappointed Faye won't be back next season because the drama is ratings gold but, quite frankly, it just isn't worth it for her to be on the show," the source said.
