FC Porto vs. Paris Saint-Germain Live Stream: Watch Champions League Football
French club Paris Saint-Germain travels to Portugal to face FC Porto to compete for the top spot in Group A.
Both of these clubs will meet on the field at the Estadio do Dragao as joint leaders of Group A following victories on the first match day of the competition last month.
FC Porto manager Vítor Pereira is encouraged that his Portuguese team will have center-back Rolando available for this match after he completed his 1-match suspension in European competitions. He was suspended during his side's 4-0 defeat to Manchester City in last season's Europa League. Midfielder Silvestre Varela could also be available following a short stint on the sidelines due to injury.
PSG manager Carlo Ancelotti will most certainly give a little added attention to FC Porto player Lucho Gonzalez, who has scored in the two previous meetings against PSG. The Argentine international star has also scored in eight consecutive Champions League seasons.
Ancelotti will not focus on his clubs' past record in Portugal, which has been far from stellar. PSG has been able to earn only one victory in Portugal, which came during the 1-0 win over SC Braga in the Europa League in 2009.
To help reshape history, PSG is expected to have striker Ezequiel Lavezzi, who has been recovering from injury. The French side also looks to have Jeremy Menez available for the match, as well as defensive midfielder Clement Chantome, who has completed serving his suspension in the 2-0 win over Sochaux over the weekend.
"In our group, Porto are the team with the most experience of the Champions League," Ancelotti said during a press conference. "For us, playing here is a really good test to see what level we are it in terms of confidence, and in terms of our play. It will be difficult."
Kickoff for the match is at 2:45 EDT and can be watched online here.
