'Fear the Walking Dead' Recap, Spoilers: Travis and Madison Make A Move As The National Guards' Plan Revealed

The previous episode of AMC's hit zombie TV series "Fear the Walking Dead" titled "Not Fade Away," may have lacked some actions with the undead. However, it doesn't mean that the segment wasn't packed with intense and harrowing moments happening among the uninfected humans.

Picking up nine days after the National Guard occupies Madison's neighbourhood, the people of Safe Zone (aka DZ) seemed a little bit agitated with the lack of information of what has really been going on outside the fence.

Travis's son with ex-wife Liza, Chris, kept on nagging both his father and step-mom about the light beeps from a window outside of DZ. It was a very interesting aspect that delivered a shocking revelation towards the end of the episode.

Nick, on the other hand, gets his mother to believe that he can now live without Oxytocin. It was revealed, however, that he has been stealing the morphine medication that Liza administered to an elderly neighbour.

DZ people are also getting desperate to get more attention from the military. Ofelia is seen making out with a corporal in order for him to get the extra medicine for Griselda.

Intense moments picked up in the episode when a directive required all those who are unfit to live inside DZ to be taken outside. The promise is that they will be relocated so that they will be given appropriate medical attention. But Ofelia's father knows too well that this isn't the case. He bid Madison goodbye and pleaded with her to take care of his daughter.

However, much to the shock of Madison and Travis, Nick was also taken by the army with Griselda.

The synopsis for the upcoming segment, "Cobalt," said that the DZ neighborhood will finally be getting an idea on what the National Guards' plan for them really is and this would create a rift between Madison and Travis.

Executive producer Dave Ericson previously revealed in an interview that Travis has faith and trusts in the institution, believing that the phenomenon will soon be over with their help. Madison, however, thinks otherwise.

"Fear the Walking Dead" airs this Sunday, Sept. 27, on AMC.
