Relativity Media has acquired the rights to turn Eric Blehm's book "Fearless: The Undaunted Courage and Ultimate Sacrifice of Navy SEAL Team SIX Operator Adam Brown," into a movie, with the promise that Brown's Christian faith will be included and not left out of the picture.

Brown was killed in 2010 during a complex raid on a compound in Afghanistan after placing himself in grave danger in order to protect his comrades. Brown charged the enemy in order to draw fire to himself so that others may escape; the compound was captured, but Brown lost his life. He was a 12 year veteran of the Navy and left behind a wife and two children.

According to the Adam Brown Legacy Fund, Brown "was an incredibly strong Christian who loved the Lord and served him until his last, mortal breath. Adam was always the first through the door to clear the way for other members of his team and in classic Adam fashion he was yet again the first through Heaven's door … only the last door he went through wasn't filled with darkness and enemies, but light, with his Lord and Savior there to meet him."

"These guys (the Relativity team) are committed to honoring Adam, and telling the story like it is," a source told Fox 411. "Maybe even set a new trend in Hollywood, where they don't have to put their artistic license into a story to make it good – the power is truth and accuracy of the portrayal."

Blehm has been very involved with Brown's family ever since starting to write his book. He announced on Facebook that he and the Relativity team had flown to Hot Springs, Arkansas to visit Brown's family to discuss their comfort with the book being made into a movie and to make sure that they approved of those who would be working to tell their loved one's story. The group even visited Brown's gravesite in a remarkable show of respect.

"A film version could impact others in ways that are unimaginable," Brown's wife Kelley said. "It brings us great joy to witness the path this has all taken, and we trust when it happens, it will be done right to honor Adam, his memory and what he and his fellow SEALs stand for."
