'FIFA 17' Patch 1.08 Features Updates: Gameplay Issues, Bugs Fixed

The latest update for Electronic Arts' sports video game "FIFA 17" is currently available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

According to PSU, the 1.08 patch is designed to address several issues and bugs in "FIFA 17's" gameplay. One of the major fixes is said to involve the part when the goalie recovers the ball after a teammate's pass back. The penalty kick indicator has been disabled, as well as the trainer in all the FUT Champion matches.

The update also gives a limit to the number of wins a player can have during a FUT Champions' weekday knockout tournament. One can check the changes in the HUB's main tournament title. Attribute items during matches have also been regulated. New restriction options have likewise been added, as well as new games in the leaderboard.

When it comes to visual upgrades, the patch has addressed issues on a player's overall rating, which many gamers have described as faulty. The team crest of the Chapecoense has also been updated, while the 2D player photo of Axel Tuanzebe has been fixed. Gamers can also see that the latency bar graphic in all online modes has been standardized.

"FIFA 17" has received mostly positive reviews since its introduction to the PS4, PC, and Xbox One in September last year. The animations used in the game are reportedly top-notch, the gameplay more physical and exciting compared to the previous versions. The game also introduced "The Journey," a story mode that follows the adventures of Alex Hunter, an aspiring football player who wants to make it big in the Premier League.

According to PlayStation Lifestyle, the next "FIFA" series, which is expected to be launched later this year, will feature the second part of the single-player mode. Gamers can reportedly look forward to new characters and storylines in the next installment.
