'FIFA 2017': The Top Features and Ratings as September 2016 Release Date Approaches - 'Realistic as Ever'
A completely new experience is what "FIFA 2017" offers, incorporating a new Frostbite engine for improved visuals and gameplay, responding to "Pro Evolution Soccer's" FOX engine.
FIFA and PES both garnered 82 ratings in Metacritic's 2015 PlayStation 4 series. The following year saw FIFA nailed at 82, while PES zoomed ahead with an 87 rating. FIFA's developer EA Games and Konami's PES have since been in tight competition on which has better ball physics, environments and overall flow of action.
The Frostbite engine is expected to boost FIFA up the competition, especially during online battles wherein increased response and interaction of all objects are top priorities. Full battles or 11-against-11 football encounters will carry even more impact with the whole arena, including crowds and sideline figures. This is a big field of review for game critics so it needs most noticeable enhancements to provide the game a livelier and highly accurate feel.
Weather effects are another huge focus of Frostbite engine, where players can enjoy accurate depictions of rain, snow-flurries and even winds. This makes the 2017 version of FIFA in its new engine as a benchmark that will determine the future of the franchise.
Meanwhile, FIFA 17 offers three options for gamers who will pre-order the game. EA has also publicized their corresponding price range. The Deluxe Edition offers full game with 20 FIFA Ultimate Team Jumbo Premium Gold Packs available for $60 for 20 weeks. This option will showcase three match FUT Team of the Week loan players within a maximum of just one player per week within 20 weeks.
