However, it is highly unlikely since the production for the film is still a few months away. "Fifty Shades Darker" has been experiencing some delay due to some internal issues regarding who will direct the upcoming film.

With that, there is a chance that Johnson's new hairdo could be for her more recent projects. It was revealed that she will be joining "Pitch Perfect" star Rebel Wilson in the upcoming movie titled "How to Be Single." She will be portraying the role of a woman who recently got out of a long relationship. With that, she will be turning to vices in order to accept her newfound freedom. The film is expected to release sometime in 2016.

Meanwhile, "Fifty Shades Darker" is expected to hit theaters a year after. The story will have Anastasia and Christian Grey facing some troubles as they continue their unusual relationship. However, they will be triumphant in their struggles as the next installment of the series, "Fifty Shades Freed," is expected to see them married.

"Fifty Shades Darker" will hit theaters in February 2017, while "Fifty Shades Freed" will be released in February 2018.
