'Final Fantasy 15' News: Devs Are Still Looking Into the Possibility of Coming out With a Full-Fledged Switch Version
Everything is still 'under investigation' when it comes to whether 'Final Fantasy 15' can be released for the Switch
Work on "Final Fantasy 15" is still ongoing even nearly a year after its initial release. That work will spill over into early next year when the role-playing game debuts on the PC, and perhaps even beyond that.
Probably the biggest reason for why the book may not completely close on the aforementioned RPG even after the PC version comes out is because there is still a chance that it may be released for another platform.
Over the past few weeks, director Hajime Tabata has fielded some questions about the RPG possibly making it to the Nintendo Switch.

Tabata being so forthright with regards to the matter was admirable, and he once again talked about it during an interview with Eurogamer.
According to Tabata, he and the other developers are carrying out "very specific technical investigations into what's possible at the moment." Tabata also shared that there are ongoing discussions regarding what should be done so that the game does make it to the Switch.
Everything is also "under investigation," according to Tabata and even the folks from Nintendo are apparently involved in the talks to some degree.
Just going by Tabata's comments, it seems as though he and the other developers have not let go of the idea of releasing "Final Fantasy 15" on the Nintendo Switch, which has to be a positive for the owners of that console.
Another positive sign that Switch owners can cling to is that the developers are apparently still open to making significant changes, even engine-related ones, if those pave the way for the RPG to become a Switch title.
There may still be a long way to go before "Final Fantasy 15" can be announced as a Switch game. However, the developers are on the case, and hopefully for Nintendo fans, that will lead to something being produced eventually.
