See Awesome 'Fire Tornado' in Slow Motion!
What could be cooler than a tornado? Why a fire tornado of course. And what's cooler than a fire tornado? How about a fire tornado in slow motion!
Gavin Free and Daniel Gruchy, known collectively as the "Slo Mo Guys," are at it again filming an artificial fire tornado to great effect.
Using 12 box fans in a circle and half an inch of kerosene in a bucket, the Slo Mo Guys create a fire tornado all their own and film it for the Internet community.
With the towering inferno in slow motion, one can see the beauty and intricate shaping of the flaming twister.
The Slo Mo Guys zoom in on the contorting cylindrical frames, leading them to conclude that spinning flames are the best kind.
Uploaded to YouTube on Nov. 22, the fire tornado video has gotten over 2.4 million views and collected more than 92,000 likes.
