Christian leaders call for prayers, enhanced protection after second Trump assassination attempt
1. The Rev. Franklin Graham
The Rev. Franklin Graham, CEO of Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, reacted to the unfolding situation in an X post Sunday afternoon. “It’s evening here in Rome, where I am, but the news is reporting that shots were fired in @realDonaldTrump’s vicinity in Florida,” he wrote.
“There aren’t many details available yet, but as they try to determine what exactly happened, this is a strong reminder that we need to pray for this man,” Graham added.
