5 family friendly films to watch this holiday season
'Identity Crisis'
Vertical Entertainment released the faith-filled movie “Identity Crisis” aimed at teenagers searching for their identity in Christ.
Created by Boylan Sisters Entertainment, in association with Ben Howard and Erin Mae Miller, “Identity Crisis” follows “Madison, a shy science wiz in her freshman year of college struggling with imposter syndrome and insecurity. She figures out how to clone herself in order to create the perfect identity and sends her clone off to do all the things she is afraid of. In the end, she discovers she was already created the perfect version of herself and has all the confidence she just needed to try,” a synopsis of the film reads.
The feature film stars Maria Canals-Berrara (“Wizards Of Waverly Place”), Finn Roberts ("Green House Academy"), Laura Leigh Turner ("Mean Girls, Broadway") and introduces twin sisters, Scout and Sophia Tayui-Lepore ("The History of the World, Part 2").
The film is an “important reminder of where your true identity lies and will encourage audiences everywhere of their immense value," the movie’s writer, Alexandra Boylan, says of the family-friendly film.
Directed by Shari Rigby, the movie is accompanied by a young adult novel released by The Boylan Sisters, who hope to support families, youth groups and churches. Resources are available at www.theboylansisters.com. Visit the website for more information.
