Selective border security, LGBT ideology: 5 things to know about the omnibus bill
5. It allocates more than half a billion dollars for ‘family planning’ designed to inhibit ‘population growth’
The bill states that “not less than $575,000,000 should be made available for family planning/reproductive health, including in areas where population growth threatens biodiversity or endangered species.”
The terms “family planning” and “reproductive health” are often used as euphemisms for abortion. Rep. Dan Bishop, R-N.C., who put out a lengthy Twitter thread outlining what he viewed as the most concerning provisions of the bill, described the idea of encouraging abortions in areas with high population growth as an example of “Malthusianism.”
On a more sinister note, here's at least 5 million for "family planning" in areas where population growth "threatens biodiversity."
