Flyleaf Releases 'Who We Are EP' Today and Begin Tour with P.O.D.
Platinum selling Christian female-fronted rock group, Flyleaf, released their 5-track EP called, Who We Are, today.
The album has three live songs from their latest release, New Horizons, including: "Call You Out," "Fire Fire," "Broken Wings," and a live version of the song, "Sorrow," from their first album.
The EP is also highly anticipated due to the one original track which they premiered the lyric video for a few weeks ago, "Something Better," featuring Sonny Sandoval of P.O.D.
Listen to the song here.
The track is the band's first original song with new front woman, Kristen May after the departure of Lacey Sturm, and is currently the band's single.
"Something Better" was produced by Howard Benson (Bon Jovi, My Chemical Romance, Seether) and features the vocals of Sandoval.
The song is a good fit for Flyleaf as they are about to hit the road with P.O.D. for a co-headlining nationwide tour going from July 13 and finishing up August 10.
The EP can be purchased on iTunes, Amazon, and GooglePlay, with the it also hitting stores in a special addition woodcut print, hand crafted by bassist Pat Seals.
The band has three albums starting with their self-titled in 2005, which released to critical acclaim. Memento Mori followed in 2009, and New Horizons in 2012 upon which singer Sturm left the band.
