'Forza Motorsport 7' DLC Release Date: New Update Preps Game For Xbox One X Release, New Car Pack Detailed
Turn 10 Studios has released the biggest update for "Forza Motorsport 7" including enhancements for the upcoming console Xbox One X set for release today, Nov. 7.
In a blog post, the developer details the tweaks made to support what is deemed to be the most powerful console to date including "all the beautiful enhancements that will allow players to enjoy the biggest racing game of the year in stunning native 4K" such as high-resolution assets.
The "Forza Motorsport 7" update will also include brand new graphical improvements such as improved lighting and shadows resolution to allow the game to take advantage of the Xbox One X's full power.
The massive update also adds new features to the multiplayer campaign of the racing game that offer new experience for players and their friends. This includes Drag, Tag, Virus, Keep the It and Pass the It.
Players can also finally get the chance to score a handsome new vehicle or a bunch of credits with the Auction House. Prizes and exclusive cars also await players in the returning #Forzathon event.
The "Forza Motorsport 7" update also comes with much-needed improvements and bug fixes so that the game will offer improved gameplay experience in line with the release of the Samsung QLED Car Pack tomorrow:
In true "Forza" fashion, this pack features an incredible variety of vehicles – from the latest Alfa Romeo to Nissan's famous Bluebird Super Silhouette race car, as well a couple of rough-and-ready off-roaders that are built for intimidation on the race track, and a whale-tailed Porsche racer that's best known by its nickname "Moby Dick."
The cars in the "Forza Motorsport 7" downloadable content (DLC) include the 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio, 1984 Nissan #20 Coca-Cola Bluebird Super Silhouette, 1978 Porsche #78 MOMO 935/78, 2017 Abarth 124 Spider, 1957 Maserati 250F, 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser Arctic Trucks AT37 and the 2015 Honda Ridgeline Baja Trophy Truck.
