Frank Ocean Wears Domestic Violence Shirt With Chris Brown's Face
Frank Ocean, the 25-year-old singer-songwriter, recently mocked his fellow singer Chris Brown who was involved in a domestic dispute in 2009.
Ocean, and Brown,24, engaged in a physical altercation outside of a West Hollywood, Calif. recording studio on Jan 27. Ocean was recently pictured in a photograph where he wore a shirt with Brown's face that reads, "Wanted! Stop Domestic Violence," according to Bossip.com reports.
Brown physically assaulted his ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 which resulted in him serving probation that he is currently undergoing. However, the singer's physical altercation with Ocean received nearly just as much public attention earlier this year.
Ocean let it be known that he was not willing to forget his feud with Brown on rapper Earl Sweatshirt's song that leaked online called "Sunday," where the singer makes a rare rap appearance last month that may be revealing his thoughts concerning the Brown fight.
"He called me [expletive] I was just calling his bluff … Why his mug all bloody," Ocean rhymes on the record. "That was a 3-on-1."
Witnesses said Brown started the dispute when he punched Ocean over a parking space, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore, according to TMZ reports. While numerous reports claimed Ocean wanted to press charges against Brown, the former took to his Tumblr account to let fans know that he decided against doing so.
"As a child I thought if someone jumped me it would result in me murdering or mutilating a man," Ocean wrote on his Tumblr page earlier this year. "But as a man I am not a killer. I'm an artist and a modern person. I'll choose sanity. No criminal charges. No civil lawsuit."
However, "Sunday" is not the first song where Ocean is thought to be addressing Brown.
On his Tumblr account, Ocean released the lyrics to his version of Migos' hit song "Versace" with no audio to accompany it. In Ocean's version, he may be addressing the fact that the world witness Brown refusing to stand up with the majority of the audience at the 2013 Grammy Awards when Ocean received his award.
"Versace Versace, I'll play the piano..I'm not Liberace…You could stay seated I'm taking that Grammy…Your Music Is Sloppy…," Ocean wrote on his Tumblr account last July.
