Franklin Graham to Bring Festival of Hope to Chile
Franklin Graham, son of Reverend Billy Graham, is expected to bring the message of Gods love to Temuco, Chile on Nov 11-13, 2004.
For his first ever Festival of Hope in Chile, Franklin Graham excitedly expressed, I look forward to bringing Gods message of hope to Temuco. People will hear a lot of music from award-winning artists, personal stories, and most importantly, an opportunity to accept Gods love that will change their lives.
Festival de Esperanza con Franklin Graham is an interdenominational outreach of more than 250 area churches in cooperation with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA.
Festival of Hope in Chile will include music, messages from local leaders as well as Franklin Graham, and a program for youth and children. In addition, award-winning artists as Steven Green, Marcos Vidal will participate in the event.
Franklin Graham began his career as main preacher of evangelistic festivals in 1989 when he successfully drew a large crowd at a festival in Juneau, Alaska.
Since then, Franklin has led an average of seven evangelistic Festivals each year for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA). To date, he has led more than 90 Festivals in locations from Johannesburg, South Africa, to Tupelo, Miss., speaking to more than 3.5 million people. Franklins 2004 Festival schedule includes events in Durban, South Africa; Bakersfield, Calif.; Tijuana, Mexico; Halifax, Nova Scotia; Temuco, Chile.
Graham is currently serving as president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and international relief organization Samaritans Purse. Throughout the year, Graham travels the world with Samaritans Purse, which over the last several years has provided more than $15 million in aid to South America.
