Franklin Graham to Speak at Greg Laurie's Megachurch
Evangelist Franklin Graham will be speaking Sunday night at Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside during his visit to Southern California.
The CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association will deliver a message at the "cutting edge" megachurch led by Southern California evangelist Greg Laurie at 6 p.m. PT and be joined by musicial guest Phil Wickham. In addition to serving as president of the Christian charity organization Samaritan's Purse, Graham also serves on the board of Harvest Christian Fellowship, which he has called a church "like no other in the nation."
"He is a great Bible teacher, anointed, an excellent communicator," Graham has said of Harvest senior pastor Laurie. "He knows how to communicate so that the common person in the pews can grab it and understand it."

Sunday night services at Harvest, dubbed "Day 7 @ Harvest," have been touted as "an innovative Sunday night service for the 21st century," blending technology and theology. It features engaging and relatable teaching of God's Word, cutting edge worship, guest musical artists, and a personal touch."
"Most importantly, Day 7 is designed to equip you with a biblical perspective, so that you can know God and make Him known in and throughout your life," organizers say.
Following the service, Graham is expected to attend on Tuesday the Operation Christmas Child Send Off for Orange County.
Operation Christmas Child, a project of international Christian relief organization Samaritan's Purse, has collected and hand-delivered more than 61 million shoe box gifts to hurting kids in 130 countries since 1993. This year, 8 million children will receive shoe box gifts, for some of these children it will be the first gift they ever receive.
After the Orange County Send-Off at 10:30 a.m. PT, Graham will travel to Denver for the Send-Off there on Wednesday and then to Charlotte for the Dec. 4 Send-Off there.
The project's National Collection Week concluded Nov. 24, and Operation Christmas Child reports that millions of gift-filled shoe boxes are en route from over 2,000 drop-off locations to our six regional Processing Centers in Boone, Charlotte, Atlanta, Minneapolis, Denver and Santa Ana.
This season, many Operation Christmas Child drop-off locations are reporting higher collection numbers in spite of worries about the current economic situation.
