'Fresh Off the Boat' Season 4 Spoilers: The Huangs Take On Halloween; George Takei Guest Stars

The upcoming episode of "Fresh Off the Boat" season 4 will see Halloween take over the Huang family household.

The synopsis of the next episode, titled "It's a Plastic Pumpkin, Louis Huang," states that Jessica (Constance Wu) and Emery (Forrest Wheeler) will become concerned when they hear an unknown man's voice coming from Grandma's (Lucille Soong) bedroom. Their concern will soon turn into fright when Grandma disappears. She will be visited by a group of strangers in costumes, who then take her away. Not knowing who or what they are dealing with, Jessica and Emery will fear the involvement of the supernatural.

Evan (Ian Chen), on the other hand, will not be too keen on spending Halloween the way kids usually do. This will affect Louis (Randall Park), who will be disappointed that his son does not want to enjoy the holiday the way he expected.

Elsewhere, Eddie (Hudson Yang) and his friends will come up with a plan to crash a party thrown by a cool older girl. It remains to be seen, though, whether they will be successful.

A teaser trailer for the new episode has also been released. It opens with Louis getting into the Halloween spirit as he does an impression dressed as Jerry Seinfeld. Jessica points out that he does not look attractive at all and even resembles a woman, something that understandably disappoints her husband.

The trailer then reveals that George Takei will be guest starring in the episode. In fact, it is Takei's voice that can be heard from Grandma's room, as the clip teases that he "catches Grandma's eye." Emery then realizes that Grandma likes him.

Meanwhile, here is a brief recap of the previous episode, titled "Kids."

Following the realization that Eddie has finally matured, Louis and Jessica looked forward to more days hanging out with their friends, Marvin (Ray Wise) and Honey (Chelsey Crisp). However, their friends revealed that they are planning to have another child together. The Huangs managed to convince Marvin that it is a bad idea, but they inadvertently caused him to fight with his wife. In the end, they apologized to their neighbors.

"Fresh Off the Boat" season 4 airs Tuesdays at 8:30 p.m. EDT on ABC.
