'Frozen 2' Rumors: Movie Sequel to Feature the Return of Elsa and Anna's Parents

While it is confirmed that "Frozen 2" has already begun its production, it remains unclear how its story will pan out. However, it is speculated that the highly anticipated movie sequel may feature the return of Elsa and Anna's parents, who may have survived the shipwreck after all.

There is no denying that many fans from around the world are excitedly waiting for the arrival of "Frozen 2." While the voice actors have confirmed that they have already started recording for the movie, those outside the production are totally clueless on how its story will play out.

While Disney is not expected to spoil the plot of the movie, there have been several speculations on how the story of "Frozen 2" will go. Among the many plot rumors, though, one of the most persistent has been the one claiming that Elsa and Anna's parents may have survived the shipwreck that supposedly caused their demise in the first movie. Hence, "Frozen 2" is suspected to be about the return of the original king and queen of Arendelle.

On the other hand, there are also rumors claiming that the animated movie sequel may be about Prince Hans returning to seek revenge. To recall, fans never suspected Prince Hans as a villain in the first movie and even though that he and Anna would end up together. Thankfully, his plan to take over the throne of Arendelle by killing both Anna and Elsa was foiled.

Whether "Frozen 2" runs on a storyline featuring the return of Elsa and Anna's parents or Prince Hans' revenge, fans can only speculate for now. What is certain, though, is that the sequel will give the fans a better understanding of the first movie as promised by its producer Peter Del Vecho in an interview with Entertainment Weekly last March.

With the movie slated to hit the theaters on Nov. 27, 2019, fans will have to wait for a little more than two years to find out what Del Vecho exactly means.
