'Fuller House' Series Creator Is Done Asking the Olsen Twins to Appear in Revival
Fans should not count on the Olsen sisters reprising their role as Danny Tanner's (Bob Saget) daughter Michelle in "Fuller House."
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were only little girls when they took turns in playing the adorable character in the iconic original "Full House."
Many hoped to see the all-grown up Michelle in the revival and how she is now, but it looks like they do not share the same interest with the fans, making the character the only series regular missing in the reunion show.

Series creator Jeff Franklin has revealed to TVLine that he made efforts to ask them to reprise the role in "Fuller House," but he was unsuccessful.
"Personally, I've given up asking them. The door is open, but I'm not going to be calling them anymore to invite them. They just don't seem interested in coming. It's been three years of invitations, so they know the door is open. It's up to them to decide if they want to come play or not.
Back in 2015, Netflix's chief content office Ted Sarandos said that they were considering to return for "Fuller House," but ultimately decided against it.
The Olsen duo has not done much lately in the way of television and film, but they have been making a big name for themselves in the world of high-fashion while keeping their lives as private as possible.
The two make rare public appearances although they did speak to Vogue last month about what they are up to these days. They talked, among many others, their love of sage-ing and crystals with Kate saying:
I sage everything, all the time. Constantly sage-ing. I don't want bad energy. Clean space... We were going to put crystals everywhere today.
Their younger sister Elizabeth Olsen, whom fans would know as Scarlet Witch from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, recently spoke to Modern Luxury about the twins and the advice they gave to her about handling reporters.
Upon learning that their little sis "was not caring" about what she says during interviews "because I'd assumed no one would read it," Mary-Kate and Ashley stepped in. The younger Olsen recalled her sisters saying:
They'd say, 'You know, even if you don't think anyone's going to read this article, someone might pull the quote later for [something else]. It's all part of how you hope someone interprets you, and how they frame who you are and the work you do.' They're very tight-lipped — notoriously so.
