Galaxy Note 3 Rose Gold Model Launches on Verizon
The long-rumored Rose Gold Galaxy Note 3 is now on sale from Verizon.
The device retails for $249 with a two year contract or through the carrier's edge program for $27.15 per month with no upfront cost. This will amount to $649.99 at the end of the payments.
A listing for this version showed up on Samsung's U.S. website and also revealed that this color will be exclusive to Verizon in the U.S. Rumors of this Rose Gold model first surfaced back in December as it was originally expected to hit the Chinese market.
Aside from a color change, most of the Galaxy Note 3's other features will remain the same.
A Galaxy Note 3 Neo version might also be introduced sometime in the near future.
Sam Mobile received information from a tipster claiming that a pre-order page has been designed for this new version of the device that will be offered by a Belgian retailer sometime in the near future.
The site states that the pre-order price is €599, which is equivalent to $818. The tipster did not know when the page was going live.
The Galaxy Note 3 Neo will feature a 5.5-inch display and an 8-megapixel camera. It is expected to be released sometime in March and will be on display at this year's Mobile World Congress next month. The Neo is expected to be smaller than the Galaxy Note 3.
The original Galaxy Note 3 was released in the fall of last year and went on to become one of Samsung's highest selling devices ever. It comes with impressive specs including a Snapdragon 800 chip and 3GB RAM. It also packs a 13-megapixel camera that can shoot video in 4k Super HD. These new versions should boost interest in the device even more.
