Galaxy Note 3 vs. LG G2: Battle of the Next-Gen Phablets
The Galaxy Note 3 vs. the newly unveiled LG G2 will be an interesting battle to watch.
Both feature specs that put them somewhere in between a phablet and a smartphone, making them some of the only devices in their arena. Little is known about the Galaxy S3 at this time aside from some rumored specifications and the official unveiling date.
The curtain has been lifted off the LG G2 and it's a pretty impressive device. LG impressed last year with the Nexus 4 and gave the high-end smartphone market a run for its money. Will it do the same with this device? In order to do that, it must be able to compete with the king of that market, the Galaxy Note 3.

The LG G2 features some impressive specs including a 5.2-inch full HD display, a 13-megapixel rear camera, 2GB of RAM, a microSD slot, a 3,000mAh battery, on screen navigation keys, and Android 4.2.2 with LG's custom skin. The LG G2 will also be the world's first worldwide-launching smartphone running the Snapdragon 800 processor.
Even though the Galaxy Note 3 hasn't been unveiled yet, there are some pretty consistent spec rumors available at this time.
The phablet is expected to feature a 5.7-inch LCD display, 3GB of RAM, and will also come with the Snapdragon 800 processor. The device will also run the new Android 4.3, JellyBean operating system.
Both devices feature some impressive specifications, but the Note's bigger display might give it a slight advantage. Those looking for something closer to a tablet might gravitate towards the Note. It also might be a bit faster as it will come with 3GB of RAM. The LG G2 does have a chance to pick up some steam as its being released well before Samsung's device.
