Galaxy Note 4 Rumors: Will the Samsung Phablet Come With a Flex Display?
The Galaxy Note 4 could come with a flexible display, according to a new report.
Android Authority released news that basically states that Samsung plans to launch a few different versions of the handset with one packing a flex display and the other with a standard screen. Unfortunately, these two options will not be available in all markets.
The Note 4 is also expected to include an Exynos 5433 CPU for the European model.
Sam Mobile reports that a model with a Snapdragon 805 will be released in North America, Korea, China and Japan. The rest of the world will receive the Exynos powered model that comes paired with an Intel Cat 6 LTE chip. Both versions will also have QHD displays with a UV sensor and a next-gen 16-megapixel camera.
Samsung plans to add a few new features to the software for the Galaxy Note 4 including Swipe to Launch Motion Launcher and Smart Fingerprint.
A previous SamMobile report claimed that Samsung is currently testing out a few new software features that utilize the Galaxy S5 hardware and plans to debut them on the Note 4. Swipe to Launch and Smart Fingerprint are just a few of the features that will come on the new software.
The Swipe to Launch Motion Launcher will be similar to the HTC One M8's motion launcher feature which means it could be used to swipe gestures on the screen to wake the display, launch the camera and more. Smart Fingerprint could allow users to customize actions when a finger print in scanned.
Other features include Aqua Mode and a Multi Network for Booster. Aqua Mode will allow users to take pictures under water while the latter of these could make it have the same download booster as the S5.
