Galaxy Note Android 4.1.1, JellyBean Update Released
A new Android 4.1.1, JellyBean ROM is now available for the Galaxy Note.
This build of the software leaked this week and is a version of the official one Samsung is developing called XXLS2 firmware.
The ROM can be found in the XDA forums.

Users' reports have confirmed that this ROM is quite stable, however, since Samsung has not yet released it, there is probably still a few kinks that need to be worked out with the software.
In other Galaxy Note news, the Multi-view mode that allows Galaxy Note 2 users to run two different apps side by side on the screen will be available on the Galaxy S3 next month.
This ability will come with the Android 4.1.2 JellyBean firmware update that is expected to roll out for the smartphone next month.
The build number for this firmware is I9300XXE.
The Galaxy Note 2 was scheduled to be released on all of the major U.S. carriers this week including T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, Verizon, Sprint and AT&T.
All of these companies released their very own version of the smartphone-tablet hybrid and most of them are expected to support 4G LTE.
Samsung hosted a major media event in NYC last night specifically geared towards the promotion of the Galaxy Note 2.
This event featured a performance by hip-hop star and producer Kanye West.
West has a few surprises during his performance that included him bringing out his "Mercy" collaborator 2 Chainz. West performed many of his hit songs, including "New God Flow," "Say You Will," and the summer smash "Mercy."
The Galaxy Note 2 was first unveiled by Samsung back in August and is the successor to the the wildly popular predecessor that married the idea of smartphone and tablet.
