Galaxy S4 Mini Specs: Device to Come in 3 Memory Capacities
More information on the Galaxy S4 Mini Specs was revealed today.
The smaller version of the flagship Samsung smartphone will come in three memory capacities: 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB versions. The device will also support microSD cards up to 32GB, according to a report from Knowyourmobile.com.
The Galaxy S4 Mini will also feature an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging, touch-focus, and face detection. The smaller version of the flagship is expected to launch shortly the regular version, which drops in April.
Other rumored specs for the handset include a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD 960 x 540 display with a pixel density of 256 ppi. It will also come with a 1.6GHz dual-core processor and will run Android 4.2.2, JellyBean, according to a report from SamMobile.
The Galaxy S4 was finally unveiled by Samsung earlier this month at the company's Mobile "Unpacked" event in New York City.
Many of the rumored specifications were dead on, including the 5-inch display with 441 ppi. However, rumors of Samsung switching to LCD were incorrect, as the device still packs a Super AMOLED.
The Galaxy S4 will come in two colors at launch: Black Mist and White Frost. It also has LTE and HSPA+ connectivity.
Other rumored specs such as the 13-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front camera, and Android 4.2.2 JellyBean are also featured on the Galaxy S4.
Various tech outlets were correct in predicting that Samsung would launch the Galaxy S4 with two different processors. The device will with feature the new 1.6GHz Exynos Octa-core chip or 1.9GHz quad-core Qualcomm, depending on the market.
The smartphone will also feature the rumored eye-tracking technology so the device will automatically perform tasks based on where the user's eyes are along with smart pause, which pauses a video once the user looks away from the device.
