Galaxy S4 Price Dropped to Free for Black Friday, Part of 2013 Sales Offered by Best Buy

The Galaxy S4 upfront price will be eliminated for those participating in Best Buy's 2013 Black Friday sales.

The retailer released information regarding many of the deals it will offer on the day after Thanksgiving earlier this week.

The free Samsung flagship device will be available through carriers such as Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile. Other handsets will also be part of the promotion. The Galaxy S3 will sell for $299.99 off-contract with Boost Mobile or Virgin, the LG G2 will sell for $49.99 on Sprint, the HTC One for $29.99 with a two-year agreement from Sprint or Verizon, the HTC One SV for $179.99 off-contract on Boost Mobile, the LG Optimus F3 off-contract for $89.99 with Virgin, and finally the ZTE Avail which will sell for $34.99 off-contract on AT&T.

Best Buy will also offer great deals on tablets for the Black Friday extravaganza.

One of these deals includes an offer that gives customers a $100 discount on any laptop, tablet or e-reader with the purchase of two-year Verizon mobile broadband service.

Other tablet promotions include a 16GB Galaxy Note 10.1 for $399.99, a 16GB Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 for $299.99, an 8GB Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 for $149.99, a 16GB Amazon Kindle Fire 7 for $99.99, a 16GB Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7 for $99.99, an 8GB Insignia Flex for $79.99, and a 4GB Digital2 7-inch tablet for $39.99.

Best Buy will offer free shipping on orders that are $25 or more and will also run sales on accessories such as Beats Studio headphones that will be sold for $269.99 and Beats Solo HD headphones which will retail for $179.99.

Best Buy will begin handing out tickets for the Black Friday sales 2 hours before the store opens on Black Friday.
