He also mentioned that Samsung is currently working on a premium Galaxy F series that could end up being released sometime next year.

ETNews released a conflicting report this week that claimed the Galaxy S5 would be launching during Q1 of this year alongside a slew of new Samsung devices. However, this is one of the few rumors that have pointed to Samsung releasing the device so early next year. The company normally launches the next-gen Galaxy S in the spring.

Plenty of other rumors have surfaced recently revealing information on the possible specifications for the Galaxy S5. The device is expected to feature a metal exterior casing that will differentiate it from the previous models which came with a fully plastic outside.

This new design was recently confirmed by a Japanese publication known as EMSOnes that claims Samsung has already secured suppliers for the cases. One of these companies will be Catcher Technologies, who also helped craft the outside of the recently launched iPad.

Catcher will produce somewhere between 10 to 30 million units, according to the report. Initial shipments are expected to arrive at Samsung later this month. The Chinese company BYD and Taiwanese company Jo Teng will function as secondary suppliers for the components on the device.

None of these partnerships have been officially confirmed at this time, so all these rumors should be taken with a grain of salt.
