Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 Release Date Set for July in the U.S.

The Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 release date is now set for July in the U.S.

Samsung will also be launching the rest of its Galaxy Tab 3 line next month which includes the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 and Galaxy Tab 3 10.1.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 seems to be the most anticipated out of the three as it is the direct iPad Mini competitor and will come with impressive specs including a1280x800 resolution display, a dual-core processor running at 1.5GHz, and 1.5GGB of RAM. It also costs less than the iPad Mini as it retails for $299. It will run Android 4.2, JellyBean and its internal storage doubles that of what is found on the 7.0 model.

The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is the smallest model of the three and costs just $199. It comes with a 1024x728 TFT display, a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 8GB of internal storage, and Android 4.1, JellyBean.

The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 features a 10.1-inch display with the same resolution found on the 8-inch model. It also comes with an Intel Z2560 processor, a Clover Trail+design, and runs one of the latest versions of Android. Samsung's Intel collaboration of this device is the first of more joint projects that are soon to come. It is also helping Samsung to reduce its reliance on chips from Qualcomm and its very own in house Exynos operation.

One strange feature on the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 is its limited 1GB of RAM. This is a bit underwhelming for a device of this caliber. The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 will cost just $399 when it is released.

Samsung will offer the Galaxy Tab 3 line in both classic white and a gold-brown color.
