Unidentified demonstrators who blocked two Methodist bishops from entering the Bothell United Methodist Church in Bothell, Wash. are arrested by police for trespassing Wednesday, March 17, 2004. The bishops were trying to convene a jury of Methodist pastors to take up the question of whether the Rev. Karen Dammann's ministry is incompatible with churgh law because she lives in an openly lesbian relationship.

Jimmy Creech, board chairman of Soulforce, confronts Bishop Elias Galvan as he attempts to enter Bothell (Wash.) United Methodist Church, the site of the trial of the Rev. Karen Dammann. Galvan filed a complaint against Dammann, charging her under church law with "practices declared by the United Methodist Church to be incompatible to Christian teachings."
