Some "Game of Thrones" fans are still talking about last season's "Red Wedding" episode, which sent shockwaves through the community of fans. The next wedding, dubbed the "Purple Wedding," is being highly anticipated by fans. What's in store for this wedding? Read on to find out, but be wary of spoilers.
George R.R. Martin, who penned the "Game of Thrones" book series, recently revealed some details about season four's wedding when talking with TV Guide.
"It's going to be the wedding of the year, and as memorable in its own way as our wedding last season. It's what the fans call the Purple Wedding, based on the color of the wine, which plays a big part," said Martin.
Furthermore, Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow on "Game of Thrones," recently told Access Hollywood that things are going to get complicated for Snow in the upcoming season.
"He's a bit in the wars, old Jon Snow. And it doesn't get any easier this season. It's kind of high-octane, action-packed," Harrington said to Access Hollywood. He went on to say that it isn't just Jon Snow who will face violence, as this will be the most deadly season yet.
