Edmure was Catelyn Stark's younger brother. He was last seen with the Freys, who held him hostage after the horrendous Red Wedding. Along with Edmure, it was revealed that Brynden "The Blackfish" Tully will also make an appearance in season 6 of "Game of Thrones."

With that, another familiar face is expected to come back to the series. It was revealed that Shae, who was Tyrion's love interest in the past seasons, was seen in the "Game of Thrones" set in Spain. Since the character was supposedly dead already, there are speculations that her appearance will serve as a vision or a dream sequence.

With all these news of returns, fans are still waiting on the biggest return of all. It is still unsure whether Jon Snow will be alive and back in the upcoming season of "Game of Thrones." While actor Kit Harrington has been seen on set, there are still no details on the fate of his character.

"Game of Thrones" season 6 will be released by April 2016.
