'Game of Thrones' Season 6 News: Sophie Turner Says Sansa Might Date Girls

One of the surviving members of the Stark family could be receiving an unexpected love interest.

The hit HBO series, "Game of Thrones," showed Sansa Stark, played by Sophie Turner, and her bad unlucky love life. Fans saw Sansa paired off with Joffrey Baratheon, who turned out to be vicious king. After an unsuccessful turn of events, Sansa was then married off to Tyrion Lannister, played by Peter Dinklage.

Though Tyrion did not abuse her, Sansa was upset as it was merely a marriage of convenience, not love. After that, she was then presented to Ramsay Bolton, who proved to be one of the villanous characters of the series. Many fans were shocked at the series when it showed Sansa being raped by Bolton.

With that, Turner was asked who she thought Sansa's perfect match would be on the show, during an interview with Entertainment Weekly. Surprisingly, Turner explained that after her horrendous experience with men, Sansa should consider another option.

She said, "In the GoT universe, I think she's going to have to swing the other way – because the men thing isn't working for her. Judging by Sansa's relationship with Margaery … probably Margaery."

The two were seen getting along in the third season of "Game of Thrones," despite the fact that Margaery, played by Natalie Dormer, had taken Joffrey away from her. Margaery even offered Sansa the opportunity of living in Highgarden.

Aside from Margaery, Turner also joked that there is another character she could be paired off with. She added, "Or [Sansa could hook up with] Arya – because I'd like to see that happen. I'd love a love scene between Arya and Sansa."

As fans are aware, incest was already presented in the series, as Cersei Lannister and Jamie Lannister were seen in an intimate relationship during the early seasons of the show.

With that, fans will just have to catch "Game of Thrones"season 6 on HBO every Sunday nights to see what is in store for Sansa.
