'Game Of Thrones' Season 6 Spoilers: Natalie Dormer Teases Margaery Tyrell's New Scene Co-Star

Margaery Tyrell, the beautiful maiden from Highgarden who wed King Tommen Baratheon (Dean-Charles Chapman) in the fifth season of HBO's "Game of Thrones" thus becoming the Lady of the Seven Kingdoms, was last seen on the show imprisoned and awaiting trial.

Now, Natalie Dormer, who plays Margaery on the top-rated fantasy drama series, has dropped a major hint about what her character will be up to in Season 6. In an interview with The Daily Beast, Dormer revealed that she will be spending most of her forthcoming scenes with a new co-star.

The actress, who is currently promoting her new film "The Forest," reportedly shot some of her Season 6 scenes in Girona, Spain. This bit of news has fuelled "Game of Thrones" fan speculation that Margaery may have found a way to escape prison - and Cersei's (Lena Headey) manipulative ways - in the forthcoming season.

Dormer, who was careful not to let any crucial details about Season 6 slip, said, "What I can say is that the thing I love about 'Game of Thrones' is that every year it makes these unlikely pairings." "The beauty of the writing is that it puts together characters that you haven't seen together and they go on these great tangent mini-journeys together," she revealed. The actress pointed out previous "Game of Thrones" pairings, including Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie), and Petyr Baelish (Aidan Gillen) and Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner), as examples.

"The thing I'm excited about in Season 6 is that I have a whole new scene co-star that I spend most of my scenes with, who I really, really enjoyed working with," Dormer dished. "That's what I'm excited for audiences to see," she added.

Meanwhile, Sean Bean, who played the role of Ned Stark in the first season of "Game of Thrones," has responded to speculation that he may reappear on the show, telling Larry King, "I don't know how he could come back," given that the character is already dead and HBO would likely cast a younger actor to play Stark in upcoming flashbacks.

"Game of Thrones" returns to air its sixth season on April 24 on HBO.
